Would You Make The Decision Bryan Would Make?

I want to tell you about my friend, Bryan.

Three-and-a-half years into his philosophy major, Bryan realized he needed to develop some ‘hard skills’ to make himself more marketable.

So he bought a bunch of marketing books, signed up for a few solid online courses, and taught himself how to be a marketer.

Just a few months after graduation, Bryan was one of the first among his friends to land a full-time, salaried job.

He was an entry-level content marketer in a small company for only a few months until his boss got fired, and he got promoted all of a sudden to marketing director.

(Life freaking happens.)

Do you think he’s happy?

You’d think he would be—he’s been promoted, given a raise, and has less supervision.

But he’s recently told me that he’s actually not happy.

He knows deep in his gut that won’t be of value to his company if they continue to grow and his responsibilities continue to increase. And that eats at him.

What Bryan has told me he wants is what a lot of people seem to want:

Real, hard skills.

MTTB isn’t only designed to make you real money real quick—the deeper purpose is to drill actual marketing skills into you so that, wherever you go and whatever you do, you will absolutely be of value.

That’s a promise.
