How to be the best in business and still get paid pennies

“Damn it Andrew! No!”

That was me when Andrew revealed his “masterplan”.

While at a bar yesterday, the topic of business came up.

He is a dietitian and in my humble but accurate opinion, the best in town.

Yet his new business plan was a joke.

Here’s what it’s all about.

He’s from Germany and a while back he read a book from a nutritionist living there.

Andrew learned a ton from the book so he decided to translate it.

Great idea so far.

Yet, a single question and everything fell apart:

“How much are you going to make per book?”

“After the author, the publishing house and everyone else gets paid, I will make one buck per book.”

“Damn it Andrew. No!”

“Huh? Why? That’s what you always talk about. Create something that prints money while I sleep. What’s bad in that?”

Oh man.

Where to start?

Here is why it’s a bad idea.

He can’t outsource the translation cause the book is highly technical and in German. He has to translate it himself and will take him around 100-150 hours. He also has to advertise the book via ads, radio shows, and TV. These are extra hours wasted.

Yet his return is one freaking buck per book.

If he makes $50 per hour as a dietitian, he needs to sell 5,000-7,500 books just to make up for the time he spent on translation.

Yet he is under this illusion that the business “opportunity” is a solid one.

And you know what?

Joining thefearlessmomma helps you make smart choices that leverage your time and create big earning for any amount of effort you put in.

This way you can expect to work four hours per day and still outearn Andrew who works 12 and is the best at what he does.

At the end of the day, it’s not about mindlessly working hard.

It’s about working smart without hating yourself ten years from now.

Learn how to leverage your time here.

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. Just got a phone call from Andrew.

He asked if I know a good lawyer.

“Why man? What’s wrong?”

“I did some calculations and the total hours needed are 300. I can’t invest that much time. Yet the contract puts me in some legal hot waters if I don’t finish the translation.”

Damn.

That sucks.

The whole thing looks like a job.

I am not sure whether he will get out or force himself to finish the translation.

And he could have avoided all that.

By keeping his eyes open, not for time suckers that are dead end jobs in disguise, but decent business opportunities.

What will happen to you if the company you joined has shacky foundations?

Congratulations.

You joined an opportunity.

And you are sure it’ll help you achieve your financial goals and dreams.

Or will it?

There are lots of bombs out there, disguised as opportunities, waiting to explode in your face and kill your hard earned cash.

As you know, prevention is better than cure

So today, I want to share 3 signs of a self-destructive opportunity

===

1. The Restarting Timer

They say “X days, Y hours and Z minutes remaining then you pay $10,000 more”.

You refresh the page and lo and behold, the timer has restarted.

The company using this tactic tries to scare you into buying.

Yet, scare tactics show a company which doesn’t respect people’s intelligence.

2. The Not So Real Photos of Real People

This one always cracks me up.

One opportunity online says:

“To prove my point, I recently handed this easy-to-use system over to my friend’s grandma Jennifer who is 75 years old and her results were absolutely amazing!”

It then shows a grandma using a computer.

I right-click on the image and chose “Search Google for this Image”.

What do I find?

The image is taken from a 2009 Telegraph article.

Why can this be bad?

Because fake photos of clients can get any business into legal hot waters if the authorities are informed.

3. The Saint Protector Of Guru Victims

“I’m sick of gurus lying to you! I want to protect you from them”

People online often say that.

Let’s be real.

They don’t care about you.

They hope to create a feeling of reciprocity.

“I protect you from the bad gurus. Why don’t you join my opportunity as a thank you?”.

Any business built on the feeling of reciprocity has shaky foundations and won’t be around long.

===

And there you have them.

Have those three signs near you before you join an opportunity from now on.

There are actual bombs out there that will leave you sad, penniless and the laughing stock of your friends and family.

Still, there are trustworthy companies out there that show none of those three signs.

Companies that help you achieve financial freedom, make you happy and even have others wonder how you did it.

Companies like this one.

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. I want to expound on sign number 2, the fake photos.

It can be worse than you realize.

Why?

Because fake testimonials can get any business into legal hot waters if the right authorities are informed.

Do you want to get sued for recruiting someone via a page that uses fake testimonials?

Yes, you didn’t know anything.

But how can you prove you’re innocent?

You can.

The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective Scammers

Just like highly effective people, online scammers also have habits.

Study those seven.

Understand the crappiness in them.

And never fall victim to these tactics.

===

1. They use fancy titles like Minister, Doc or Professor. No way a Minister can lie, right?

2. They always use a model for their videos. If they appear on camera or show pictures of themselves, people will Google them. And they won’t like what they see.

3. They reference John Smith as a top earner but neglect to inform you he is an outlier. Why don’t they tell you about Joe Blow and how he blew his life’s savings?

4. They lie about 10-minute workdays. You can’t be rich with 10 minutes of work every day. Ask Donald Trump, Bill Gates, and Mark Cuban.

5. They say everything is easy. All you need is click a button and money flow right into your pockets, Ferraris appear out of thin air in your garage and women fall on your lap. Bullshit.

6. They call other guys “gurus” and advice to stay away from them.

7. And my favorite. They start their pitch with “But life wasn’t always that great. I used to be like you blah blah blah”.

===

And there you have them.

The 7 habits of highly effective scammers.

You won’t see them discussed anywhere.

If an opportunity has even one of them, stay away.

Those are the habits you will have to internalize if you join.

The cool part is that you can make money online if you do the complete opposite of the above.

Careful now.

It doesn’t mean you need to work 24 hours a day, torture yourself by doing stuff you hate and remain a nobody while making a fortune.

Yes – you need to work on your accountability.

Yes – you have to invest time every day to work in your business.

Yes – you have to take orders from people who have been there and done everything needed.

But as long as you are an honest, hard working individual who is frustrated with your lack of results, the above won’t be a problem for you.

And in fact, I can show you all you need to do while avoiding anything that can (and will) hold you back if you are not careful.

Here is how to get started.——-https://thefearlessmomma.com/welcome/money777jb

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. Here is habit number eight.

They pay guys on Fiverr to write fake testimonials.

Ideally, you should stay away from people who use a tactic like that.

How can you tell if the testimonials are legit?

Most of the times you can feel it as you read them.

The fake ones are always happy and cheerful, never discussing an obstacle people faced.

The genuine ones talk about the struggles and even the initial doubts before joining an opportunity.

The latter are the best kinds of testimonials since they show you the whole story, without resorting to smoke and mirrors tactics.

He Almost Hit Me For Telling The Truth

Monica stormed out of the restaurant.

Her husband, Rick, smashed his hand on the table, pondering whether to hit me or go after her.

The night started great.

My wife arranged dinner with Monica and Rick at our favorite restaurant.

They were both excited so when we finished eating, I asked what was up.

“We are going to start an e-commerce business. It’s an easy way to make side income so we hopped on the opportunity.”

“You are kidding me right?”, I raised my eyebrow.

“Why? We saw a webinar a couple days ago and the guy in it explained it’s a great idea.”

At that point, I snorted.

And from her reaction, Monica seemed butthurt.

“Well, why don’t you do us a favor and let us know why it’s not a great idea?”

“I would love to Monica.

You see, all e-commerce business owners fool themselves.

They think they have a business while in reality, all they have is a hobby.

If you want to make money, you need to treat it like a business. There’s no such thing as make easy online. And you will not make money if you just create a website and sit on your ass all day.

That’s why e-commerce website fails 99 out of 100 times.

Guess your webinar guy didn’t mention that, huh?”

At that point, you could feel the switch in the mood and could cut the tension with the knife.

“You are wrong! The guy is respected online and has lots of clients. He promised that he can make it work for us.”

“Make it work for you? Oh man, don’t tell me that he sold you  coaching with him.”, I grinned at them.

And lo and behold, they both stormed out of the restaurant, proving my suspicion.

Look.

We’re all different.

There are people who are fed lies and don’t care.

And there are people who prefer to know upfront what works, abhor fluffy claims and are ready to bust their asses in order to make money online.

If you belong to the first group, nice talking to you.

If you belong to the second group, I want you on my team.

Come over and join.

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. My wife spoke with Monica three days later.

They are terribly sorry for their reaction and found out that there are not enough hours in the day to run an e-commerce website.

They will have to manage employees, the warehouse and even fly to China and negotiate a drop shipping agreement.

Instead, they asked if I knew of any worthwhile business idea that needs only a couple hours a day to get started and little money up front.

Turns out that Monica is pregnant and they prefer investing their time and money on businesses that  will contribute to their child’s future.

And guess what?

I had the perfect solution for them

Anatomy Of An Online Scam

Here is how online scams work.

First, you see a sales page.

They invite you to watch a 5-minute video, showing flashy photographs, butt naked women, Ferraris, and mansions.

They promise easy money.

They reassure you it’s all yours, with little effort on your part.

You need a small time investment and by the end of the day you get everything.

Excited, you take the big step and join.

What do we have here?

A one-time setup fee?

You think it over and rationalize “I will pay 50 bucks now and will make $5,000 so it’s a no-brainer”.

And when you pay, whoops.

All a fairy tale.

The coach is away. The forum isn’t ready yet. The educational material is uploading and you can read only half of it. They have the audacity of upselling you more expensive “opportunities”.

And the cherry on top?

People fall for that and hop on to the opportunity because “Hey, I already paid some money, I might as well try and make back more!”.

Do you realize you can be one of those victims?

After all, scams are everywhere.

It’s easy to fall for one of them, lose your hard earned money, waste your precious time and get mocked by your peers and family.

Stay away from scams.

Join only trustworthy opportunities.

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. You know what’s even worse than scams?

Falling victim to them and disappointing your family.

Hearing them say “we didn’t know you were that stupid…”.

Wake Me Up When All The Scams End

Every day, people complain about scams.

They Google “make money online”. They see a flashy website and get impressed. “It’s so pretty! It must be legit!”. They hop on the “opportunity”. Everything seems great.

But the coach is unavailable.

The promised results are atypical.

And they need to spend more money just to make pennies.

Sure you can complain about scams.

But how do you become a victim in the first place?

By doing zero research beforehand.

And you know what?

I fell victim to a scam once, all because of zero research.

I found this long forgotten program.

The guy with the Hollywood smile promised tons of money by the end of the week.

He hit all my pain points and presented his “solution”.

I joined by paying a hefty amount of cash.

But when I was in, the smiling guy proved to be a model. The whole “community” was me and three other idiots. The customer support was nowhere. No 30-days money back guarantee. And the missus wanted some explanations.

I didn’t lose everything like others.

But my self-esteem was injured.

Ever since that day, I decided to never become a victim again.

And after lots of research and trial and error, I found a decent company that I have been with ever since.

Here it is. https://thefearlessmomma.com/welcome/money777jb

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. Want another way of finding scams?

Try asking the company a bunch of questions about their opportunities.

Ask as many details as possible.

Chances are they will be dodgy or go from excited to angry in their replies.

Should You Hate Your Partner For Not Supporting Your Vision

A while ago, I got this e-mail from a subscriber:

“I joined a ‘make money from home’ company the last couple of months, but the results are awful. And the worst part? My wife has zero faith in me. She insists I’m wasting my time and I better get a real job. I want to prove her wrong! I want to show her that I am not wasting my time. I am motivated to make this work and not make a fool of myself. Is this too much to ask for?”

Look, it’s not her fault.

Sometimes people who love us the most call us out on our shit… or at least what they’d consider to be stupid moves.

And quite frankly, most people in your life, friends and family (even your best friend) consider you trying to work from home to be the dumbest move you can make.

Until you start making money.

Then they’ll beg you to reveal your secrets.

They’ll even pay for your guidance and advice.

That’s how it happened for me.

When I started making money, my sisters and my brother and even my uncle wanted me to teach them how to do it.

They’ve seen the car I drive, the house I live in and the transformation I went through.

And it seems like an overnight success to them.

But it wasn’t.

It took a while.

And that’s what you’ll need to explain to anyone who doubts you.

That making money takes a while.

But as soon as the flood gates are open – it’s virtually impossible to screw it up, even if you cut down your working hours to just 2-4 hours a week.

And that’s it.

Very simple.

The first step to making it happen is choosing a realible system and a trusted company which isn’t going to tank next month and pull the carpet from underneath you leaving you without an income.

I don’t trust most companies out there.

But there’s one I trust fully and never question.

This is it. https://thefearlessmomma.com/welcome/money777jb

If You Died Tomorrow, Is Your Family Taken Care Of ?

Ben, one of my old business partners, died last week.

Sudden cardiac arrest and everything was over in a flash.

At 70 years old with a history of heart problems, we expected it.

He led a good life and he built a successful business.

His wife, children, and grandchildren will live in comfort thanks to everything he left behind.

But during his funeral, I couldn’t stop thinking “what if?”.

What if he wasn’t that old?

Suppose he was only 50.

What did he leave behind?

What’s his legacy?

Nothing.

The business can’t pass to the family since clients only work with Ben.

His wife will have to find an extra job and pressure herself.

His kids will stop enjoying certain luxuries.

All because Ben didn’t have a better plan.

A plan that would make it easy for his wife or kids to take up his business and allow them to make money, with zero hassle. All from day one.

What about you?

Do you have a better plan?

Or will your family struggle in case you are gone?

I know my plan is better.

Take a look at it. https://thefearlessmomma.com/welcome/money777jb

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. You know what I liked most about Ben?

Even at 70 years old he was always searching for new opportunities to make money.

Naturally, I wish we had time to show him my plan.

See it here. https://thefearlessmomma.com/welcome/money777jb

The Biz Opp Aprentice

Love him or hate him, Trump knows how to make money.

And he enjoys a life most of us don’t.

Reading his “The Art of the Deal”, I found his secret.

Wanna know what it is?

There you go:

“To this day, if I feel a contractor is overcharging me, I’ll pick up the phone, even if it’s only for $5,000 or $10,000, and I’ll complain. People say to me, “What are you bothering for, over a few bucks?” My answer is that the day I can’t pick up the telephone and make a twenty-five-cent call to save $10,000 is the day I’m going to close up shop.”

So what’s the secret behind this passage?

Trump is a master at taking tiny amounts of action and snowballing them into huge profits.

A phone call that saves him $10,000.

A simple change in a contract that keeps his investments safe for decades.

Saying “OK” to a show idea that ends up paying him millions of dollars per episode.

Moral of the story?

You’re ignoring opportunities that can grow your income.

They are easy to overlook because they seem simple enough.

Yet finding them and taking action is what separates billionaires from ordinary people.

Stop ignoring them and get down to business.

Computers Make You Feel Stupid And Slow

This is a bit embarrassing to admit but…

Computers make me feel stupid.

Why do I say that?

I was watching my four-year-old nephew press the “hide ad” button on Youtube. He is already more proficient at PCs than me. I have to ask my kids how to do simple things like copy and paste. Most times I even write notes on Post-its.

Now, imagine my uneasiness when I used Google to search “make money online”.

Everyone and their dog are trying this thing so why not me?

In the results, I read that I need to build a list, curate content, learn copywriting etc.

Now I feel even more stupid.

I try “make money online even if you can’t use the PC”.

After poking around, I find a website that promises just what I am looking for.

I join a simple system for people who feel left behind in the advances of technology.

Everything is laid out in an easy to use way.

There is no second guessing – the next step each time is done by pressing a button.

And if you are consistent enough, you can really make money.

It’s that simple.

You must first find a system to follow and 90% of the work is taken care of.

After doing it for months now, I know it works.

Those youngsters use more complicated systems but I avoid them.

Speaking of a simple system to follow that doesn’t make you feel stupid…

Here is the one I use https://thefearlessmomma.com/welcome/money777jb

Sincerely,
Joseph Smith

P.S. Other than looking stupid, you know what’s even worse?

Regret.

Regret for things that you wanted to try but didn’t.

Looking back, I regret not giving the whole “make money online” an honest try.
