A few years ago I plunked over a bunch of cash to get involved with a certain guru in the “make money online” space.
It looked good from the outside. Big promises of fast dinero for not moocho effort.
But once I got in and started working the program I realized I was just painting this guy’s fence.
Remember the Tom Sawyer story?
How he tricked all his friends in to painting the fence for him by making it seem hip? By turning it into the thing?
Yeah.
I thought I was hip.
I thought I was doing the right thing.
I thought I was in the know.
I thought I was going to make it big soon.
We were supposed to be a team. I was supposed to bring the people and he’d close them. I referred a ton of business for this guy. But he was the only one making any serious money. Sometimes he’d throw me a bone. Most of the time, I made zilch.
That’s how most of these programs work.
They’re just glorified fence painting scams.
You put up your own hard earned cash just for the privilege of sending the guru customers.
Incidentally, your job is kind of like that too.
You’re just painting your boss’s fence instead.
Tired of doing all the work and somebody else getting the credit and the cash?
Talk soon,
