3.  By selling the leads of their buyers (those who have pulled out their credit card and made a purchase).

When you call into buy something that you’ve seen online or heard about on the radio, the very first thing the operator will do it take your information.  Now, whether you actually follow through or not, they have the “lead”.

The Responsed Lead:  If you don’t buy (for whatever reason), you become a “responsed” lead.  You’ve made the inquiry, but didn’t actually buy something.  Think of this like someone who’s gone to a website and opted in for more information, but hasn’t purchased anything (at least not yet).

This lead has value.  Just because they haven’t purchased yet, doesn’t mean they won’t.  Maybe they didn’t have their credit card handy, maybe the cost of shipping was too much…there could be a dozen reasons.

The important thing to understand with a responsed lead is that they still raised their hand as having a want or desire for the product and it’s likely that in the near future they’ll purchase either that product or something very similar to that.

The Buyer Lead:  This is where the real gold is at.  These are actual prospects who have purchased that product.  It could be a weight loss program, a DVD set on how to create wealth from home, motivational cd’s…anything under the sun.

This is where the real money’s at because not only did the buyer raise their hand and display a want or a need for that product, but they also pulled out their credit card and made the purchase.

The great news about both of these types of files is that these files are practically endless.  There’s alsoHUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of each of these lead types becoming available every single month as people continue inquiring and buying stuff.

The companies who are selling these products are HAPPY to sell these files as well because it’s another income stream for them.  They also understand the #1 secret of marketing…

If someone buys something…they’re VERY LIKELY to buy again and again and again.

Ask someone who’s on a weight loss program how many programs they’ve tried in the past.

Ask an internet marketer how many tools, websites and other “gadgets” they’ve purchased trying to figure things out?

Ask yourself how many companies you’ve been with before the one you’re with now?
